The cuisines of the Aegean, Marmara and Mediterranean regions are rich in vegetables, herbs, and fish. Central Anatolia has many famous specialties, such as keşkek, mantı (especially from Kayseri) and gözleme. Food names directly cognate with mantı are also found in Chinese (mantou or steamed bun) and Korean cuisine (mandu).

Our Customer Reviews

quote I visited Kebab Zone Flagstone for the first time this week, after walking out of a competitor's store empty-handed (see my review for details). Straight up, I was hugely impressed and optimistic the minute I entered. Latif, the owner and lifelong kebab master, was friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to chat while he worked. The store itself was immaculately clean, and I was really impressed by the unique and innovative handwashing station on the side wall. As for the food, and coming from someone who rarely indulges in anything in the takeaway/fast food realm, everything was excellent. The chicken kebab was sizeable, flavoursome, fresh and, importantly, not oily at all. This was a kebab that ate easily, sat comfortably in my tummy (none of the usual 'concrete block' good times!) and tasted great. The chips were also good. In summary, KZF is an impressive business with friendly, efficient service and fantastic food. The next time I'm up for a naughty lunch, this will definitely be top of the list. Keep up the great work, thanks again.

quote We went around 5+pm for dinner take away for 4 orders. The food smells delicious while we waited for our orders to be ready. There is only 2 tables if you need to have it there. We tried the lamb on chips and lamb on rice, it was well prepared and it did not take too long either and the staff is really accomadating and friendly.

quote The Turkish Pide, Lahmacun, is my favourite meal in all of Kelvin Grove. It’s $18.50 and enough for two people as it’s two Pide’s, or will satisfy a huge appetite for one. The chef is true blue Turkish, hence the dish is like you are on the streets of Istanbul.
