Mexican

The main meal of the day in Mexico is the "comida", meaning 'meal' in Spanish. This refers to dinner or supper. It sometimes begins with soup, often chicken broth with pasta or a "dry soup", which is pasta or rice flavored with onions, garlic or vegetables. The main course is meat served in a cooked sauce with salsa on the side, accompanied with beans and tortillas and often with a fruit drink.

quote The meal prices were pretty good, especially compared to other places. My hot chocolate was very watery and extremely hot, but that would just depend on the barista. That staff were really nice! Overall, it was quite a nice place to have lunch!

quote Really good food just unfortunate the prices have increased their prices dramatically, mind you in saying that it does last 2 meals! Used to be $28 now $37 for combination fried rice and combination chow mein. Always clean and tidy too.

quote Chips are good, fish is fine (I just got the standard fish, it was fine for what it was - next time I'd probably try the Tarakihi or Snapper), hotdog interesting - was a battered cheese kransky?! Never had that before. Wasn't bad though but if you're after a standard battered sausage then you might be surprised. My partner had a fish burger and that was good too. I think not bad for a F&C shop and the people seem lovely. Will have to try the Chinese food at some point.
