I absolutely loved my meal at JV's Kusina The food truly has incredible character. Everything was so delicious, especially the Kare kare, bbq, bulalo, pinakbet, sisig and pusit. It was outstanding. Highly recommend!

An absolute gem. The food is insanely good – rich, comforting, and properly lutong bahay levels of authentic. Every dish tasted like it was made with care, from the sisig to the perfectly balanced soul hugging bulalo. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like family, checking in just enough without hovering. The atmosphere is cosy and friendly, the kind of place you can happily stay for “one more” plate of rice. Easily a 5/5 – already planning my next visit.

One of the best Filipino restaurants in Melbourne! I had such a great experience dining here. The staff are all friendly and very accommodating. The food is amazing — especially the kare-kare! I really love how the chef cooked it. Their specialty, sisig, gives you the real taste of Manila — perfectly sweet and spicy. The bicol express is also heavenly; just the right amount of spice with an explosion of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back with my friends. This Filipino restaurant truly deserves more than 5 stars!
