Imperial Indian Restaurant

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! I went with my family to celebrate one of their birthdays yesterday. We arrived at 8.50pm (after playing some local bowling) and the restaurant looked relatively packed up, however the staff were enthusiastic to greet us, and we were told the kitchen was open till 9.30pm. The staff were polite and had a good laugh with us. All our curries were served within 15 minutes, which we were impressed by (we were the only table there to be fair). What really made our night was the staff heard us speaking about the birthday, so they surprised us with a happy birthday music celebration and some delicious toffees and icecream on the house. Such a kind gesture which really made the evening so special, we'll definitely be visiting again.

Entree was great then a 40 minutes wait for mains ignoring the one that was forgotten. Food was ok without being anything amazing and wouldn’t consider it spicy or as asked for, with lots of great Indian around probably won’t make a return visit

My first time here with the family, and it was a hit! The food was amazing, and the service made it even better. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. We had a wonderful family meal here. We'll definitely be back!" ****We were so eager to dig into our delicious main meals that we completely forgot to take pictures!****

It was my first time here, me and Mum came for dinner. They had melodies chill music on, was so nice. We ordered the share plate of meat. So tender and delicious. We also ordered biriyani goat - that was so soft and flavours were full, with vegies and garlic Naan with Raita. Yummmmm. We got 2 glasses of wine because it was the best Shiraz. Everything was so full of flavour, and we will definitely come back again. Thanks to the staff that were very proffessional and lovely.

Excellent experience. I recommend the tandoori chicken. Really tasty and cooked to perfection. The accompanying mint yoghurt sauce was super tasty and spicy. We also ordered chicken biriyani and were happy with the generous portion of yoghurt served with it (some other places tend to skimp on this). First time that we tried loaded curry fries as well and would definitely order that again. Staff were friendly and the ocean views, very relaxing 😎
