Went here after being first told about Hot Rock Pizza some 10 or so years ago, when my best friend (who passed in 2020) was a frequent visitor.
I can see why he loved it - my pepperoni pizza had a crisp base, lots of flavour and a good tomato sauce. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd be greeted like Norm was on Cheers.
Will have to try one of your gourmet/specialist range next time. Recommended if you're in the area and love a good pizza!

Consistently good pizza. Not cheap but local business and the toppings are always plentiful and most importantly their pizzas are CHEESY.
Gluten free bases, large size only but no complaints.
Toppings and options to suit everyone, including sizes from single serve to larger.
Plenty of options from classic to more adventurous, and good meal deals too.
Pickup is naturally the most cost effective option.

Food is always great but the delivery service (and then customer service after) is terrible.
When ordering on the online website, you get choices of 15min blocks for delivery to come (e.g 6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7:00pm, 7:15pm, etc).
It should be relatively easy for them to stick by these times because they only deliver locally.
I had people coming over at 6:45pm-7:15pm, so I pre-ordered (at 5:00pm) for my order to arrive at 7:00pm, no sweat if it was running a tad late and if it was on time, the late stragglers would just have slightly less hot pizza.
What I wasn't expecting though, was for the pizzas to arrive 35 minutes early! (Well and truly before anybody arrived), forcing me to unpack all pizzas and try to fit it all in my oven to keep it warm.
I phoned up to tell them the issue and sure, I got a sorry. But I didn't even get a "it won't happen again", let alone any sort of compensation or voucher for next time.
Based on the short conversation (I could be wrong) but I got the impression this is not a new problem.

FIrst time ordering from here, the pizza's arrived fresh and hot. Pizza's have heaps of toppings, we got the mixed grill and the chicken aioli and it was so delish. Having just moved to the area, we will be ordering from them again and again.
