A good place for some simple authentic Cantonese dishes. The look, taste and portion is very much what is expected.
Service is reasonable. The restaurant looks a little dated but roomy and comfortable.
A great place to have some good food and skip all the fancy stuff.

I chose this restaurant when my mother in law said she wanted to try the lobster braised yee mee in Perth. We had plenty of lobster else where so I wish it was up to her standard and expectations. I was so nervous until she said “wah, the lobster is so good, so sweet”. What a relief.
It was really one of the best we had!!
Now when we think of having lobster yee mee we think of Hong Kong BBQ house. Staff were attentive and polite. So glad we chose to have it here. Thank you chef for handling the lobster so well. Onion not overpowering.

Food was a little salty and we found the dishes to have a bit too much onions but the flavours were authentic. Good ambience inside the restaurant. A little on the pricier side for Chinese food compared to what you get but one of the few options available on public holidays.

Very good service and food. You can pre-order special dishes 3 days ahead such as crocodile meat. Johnson, the owner, was very friendly.

Haven't eaten in a Chinese restaurant for years except for hawker style food. This was surprisingly good and I especially liked the yam duck 👍
