dosa-hut-bendigo

quote I’m visiting Melbourne and recently tried the Rara Chicken at Dosa Hut Bendigo — and honestly, it was amazing! The flavours were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. What impressed me even more was their tandoori roti and garlic naan. Hands down, the best I’ve had in Australia. Soft, fresh, and full of flavour — exactly how Indian bread should be. The service was great and the food came out hot and delicious. If you’re craving authentic Indian food, Dosa Hut Bendigo is definitely worth a visit!

house-khong

quote Place is dated but most Chinese restaurants do feel that way purely to set the atmosphere, the meals were nice but not fantastic Curry puffs - full of flavour these were actually nice, crispy and when you bite into them they were full of flavour. Steam dim sim’s - actually really good Special fried rice - wouldn’t say it was very special and didn’t really seem fried Pepper steak and veg - the flavours were there but steak was cut pretty small and there really wasn’t a great deal of veg at all. Service was nice the lady is lovely that served us.

din-fung-dumpling-restaurant

quote Best Chinese restaurant in Bendigo. We always eat here when we visit Bendigo. Their noodle soup is always on point! Generous serving of beef noodles with dumplings. We liked everything except the Signature Chicken. Skip ordering that one! This used to be very busy before Covid.

quote The restaurant was welcoming when we walked in. The inside feels authentic and is very nice. The food came out promptly, and all dishes were very tasty. Prices were satisfactory, but serving sizes could have been larger, especially for the large steamed rice. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.

jin-yang-noodle-bar-bendigo

quote Update May 2025 Jin Yang Noodle Bar seems to have new owners or management (?). The restaurant has also had a bit refresh. I ordered special fried rice and some mini spring rolls and both were very tasty. I wish the friendly new team all the best. Previous review If you are after a quick, flavourful, take away, it is worth checking out in Jin Yang Noodle Bar in Mitchell Street Bendigo. This family run business provides friendly service and good value for money meals. I had the special fried rice and a couple of homemade steamed Dim Sims, the special fried rice had a mix of prawns, cha siu, egg, bean shoots, onion, peas, carrots and spring onion and I think pork. You can eat in or take away. There are even tables and chairs out the front for an outdoor dining experience. I really enjoyed my meal and will return. Well done!
