Authentic South Indian Flavors in Perth! Visited this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations! The punugulu were hands down the best we’ve had in Perth—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. We also tried the veg cutlets and veg biryani, both incredibly tasty and made with fresh ingredients. Our friends ordered the chicken lollipop, chicken dum biryani, and dosa, and they loved every bite. We had a chance to speak with the chef, who shared that they keep a limited menu to ensure everything is freshly prepared daily—a thoughtful touch that really shows in the food. They also sell dosa batter, which is perfect for home cooking. As a sweet surprise, we received a complimentary Gulab Jamun—soft, warm, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic South Indian-style biryanis and starters. Great spice levels, friendly service, and a focus on freshness make this a must-visit!

Cannot rave about his criminally underrated and unassuming restaurant place enough!! We ordered the Chicken Rada, Lamb Rogan Josh, Fish Curry, Bhindi Do Pyaza, garlic and chili naan, and poppadums with an amazing sour chili chutney that I could easily eat with just rice for the rest of my life... Personal favorite was the Punjabi Goat curry and Kokoda!! (You must try these!!) All curries had perfectly cooked tender proteins and amazingly balanced flavors that are really reasonably priced! Will definitely be coming back!!

Cannot say enough about Chef Gopi's food.. it just makes me so happy. Whenever I'm back in the area, I treat myself. The vadaii are The best I've had and roti prata (egg onion) delicious. Real food magic. Thanks!

Crispy salmon katsu, with a strong katsu sauce that paired well with the fish and rice. Soft shell crab roll is a good quantity and nicely done sushi rice.

This is the most authentic traditional Japanese restaurant in all of Perth. It's a hidden gem. If you want to really experience truly authentic Japanese then you will have to eat here. I will be back many more times.
