Absolutely fantastic!! My husband and I had dinner here on Monday night. He had the braised beef noodles with egg and I had the traditional spicy noodles with pork mince and peas. They were both absolutely amazing, and mine (which was rated 3 chilli's) was hot but not knock-your-socks-off. We also had the cucumber salad, which was lovely and tried some spicy pickles and beef which were also great! Everything came out very quickly and we had great service. The room was small and no frills but honestly that just let the food speak for itself. Keen to come back and try more dishes!

Located at 971 Dominion Road is a new Chinese Food Restaurant that is an absolute gem in the making. Having very recently opened (new restaurant, different owner, new name and branding) they are doing an excellent job of offering very high-quality Chinese food at a really good price! Note the current opening special offering 50% off noodle dishes - so right now this is easily the best quality and value-for-money Chinese food on Dominion Road! I tried the Beef Noodle Soup (see photo) and it tasted excellent, I could tell that the beef had been cooked a long time and it melted in my mouth, the soup was delicious, and the noodles were firm and to my liking. There is a self-serve on side dishes, so the beans and tofu (curd?) you can take a good serving for yourself. The dishes aren't served overly spicy and there are a range of condiments that you can choose from (as pictured). The owner and staff were extremely friendly, with limited English, but easily able to communicate nonetheless. They offered me a complementary dish of seaweed, shreaded fried tofu and shreded potato which was really tasty! Boiling or cold water offered with lemon which is a nice touch. I would really recommend you visit this Chinese restaurant for lunch or dinner and help spread the word - this is a good spot! Summary: High Quality Chinese Food, Excellent Price, Great Service!

Great little fried stick place. Super tasty and well priced. Highly reccomend the chicken skin.
